Keep in routine: While the world is topsy-turvy, it’s more important than ever to maintain a healthy routine. Try to get up at the same time each day, and eat regular, nutritious meals. Ensuring you retain a sense of normality is important for your mental health.

Switch off: If the constant news updates and press conferences bearing bad news bring you down, give yourself permission to switch off. It’s also important to ensure you’re getting reliable information – don’t rely on rumours as it may cause more stress and anxiety.

Stay connected: Although we may not be able to catch up for coffee dates right now, the power of technology means you can still stay in touch with loved ones. Organise a phone call with friends or enjoy a Zoom trivia night with family.
